Namaste everyone! Planning a family trip to Thekkady in late December (Christmas week) with my wife and 15-year-old son. We are looking for an adventurous but safe trip. What's the best way to get from either Cochin (COK) or Madurai (MDU) airport to Thekkady? We're open to private taxis for convenience but prioritize safety and scenic routes over just speed. Are there any reliable, reputable taxi services or local operators you'd recommend who are good with families? Also, any idea about approximate costs for a comfortable SUV? My son is very excited for the Periyar jungle safari!
