First-time international traveller planning Mount Abu: What's a realistic per-day budget for connectivity, food, and local travel?

Namaste everyone! I'm planning my first international trip to India, specifically Mount Abu, for about 4 days in late September. I'm a bit overwhelmed with budgeting, especially for staying connected (SIM card/eSIM options and costs), decent vegetarian food, and getting around locally (autos/taxis). I'm not looking for luxury, but definitely not backpacker extreme either. Can anyone suggest a realistic per-day budget in INR, excluding accommodation, that covers these essentials? Also, any tips for a first-timer regarding connectivity in remote areas would be super helpful!

Mount Abu is a charming spot, but it's important to set expectations for your first "international" trip, especially if you're keen on the kind of experience you'd get hitting fresh powder in Niseko. Rajasthan's a totally different beast than Hokkaido in January. For a realistic budget excluding accommodation, you're looking at maybe INR 1500-2000 per day. Connectivity is easy enough. Get an Airtel or Jio physical SIM at the airport when you land in India. An e-SIM is trickier if you're not already with an Indian carrier. A 28-day pack with ample data (say, 1.5-2 GB/day) and calls will be around INR 300-400. Coverage in Mount Abu itself is decent, but if you venture out to some more remote spots, don't expect the kind of consistent 5G you'd find carving down Zermatt. Food in Mount Abu is very affordable, especially for vegetarian options. You can easily get a good thali or some local Rajasthani fare for INR 200-400 per meal at a decent restaurant. Factor in some snacks and chai, and INR 800-1000 for food per day is a comfortable buffer. Local travel will mostly be autos or shared jeeps. A short auto ride within town might be INR 50-100. If you hire a taxi for half a day to see sights like Dilwara Temples or Guru Shikhar, that could run INR 800-1200 depending on your bargaining skills. So, for transport, budget INR 400-600 daily, assuming a mix of short rides and one longer excursion.
